Hoenn Event Starts Today – Pokemon Go
After countless Kanto and Johto events in the recent Pokemon Go, we are finally getting the Hoenn event we been waiting for, and of course, Pokemon Go is going to do it pretty good. Like normal, there will be an increase in spawns from Hoenn in the wild as well as 7 km eggs will spawn Hoenn Pokemon.
NEW SHINIES, and Exclusive Moves
Like always, there will be new released shiny Pokemon, this time there will be Taillow and Zigzagoon. Not the most exciting Pokemon, but still good. Also, during the event, Shroomish that are evolved into Breloom can learn an exclusive move, Grass Knot.
LEGENDARY RAIDS WE WANTED
Though it hurt that Rayquaza isn’t a part of this specific event, Groudon and Kyogre will be coming back, and even though it hasn’t been fully confirmed, it seems like Groundon’s shiny form will (and should) be released in this event. I’ve been waiting to get my hands on a shiny Groudon and Kyogre, so having another chance at these Primal Beast will be amazing. But back to Rayquaza, I do think that Pokemon Go has bigger plans for it, since it’s probably the most popular shiny fans want outside of Mewtwo.
FEEBAS EVENT
A special event on Jan. 19th, there will be limited time research tasks that you obtain from spinning Pokestops at typical community day hours (11 am to 2 pm PST). The limited time tasks will let you encounter a Feebas, and if you are lucky, a Shiny Feebas.
The Hoenn event starts January 15th at 1 PM PST and will end the 29th at 1 PM PST.
