XBLIG Uprising Preview: Wake up in the morning feeling like… what’s going on?! Entropy!

It’s time for an uprising of the gaming variety!  Indie game fans and developers rejoice, for now is your time to RISE!  Can you hear the chanting?  Can you hear the cries?  Can you hear the Batman?  I’m kidding about that part… or am I?

We here at CBR have set out to provide you with exclusive coverage of the XBLIG uprising.  From previews, to reviews, to fresh made cookies — I’m kidding, I’m terrible at baking — we’ll have everything you want from this year’s event.

I remember the last time I woke up in a strange place…

What would you do if you woke up in a whole new world, a new fantastic — nope, not going to break into Disney song!  “Entropy” is Autotivity Entertainment’s first game released to the public.  The developers have decided to start their game with you not having any clue as to what’s going.

How nice of them?

I can’t help but think that the arrow is trying to tell me something…

Awaking from a deep slumber, you find yourself in the mysterious world of Entropy.  The only clue you have is a small apparition that’s responsible for waking you up.  You should probably be thankful for being woken up, I think?  Honestly, there’s no telling if waking up in this world is a blessing or a curse.  For now, I’ll go with blessing, because the moves you’re equipped with are pure badassery.  Controlling flows of energy, bending gravity, you can even travel back in time in case if something goes wrong.  If you’re like me and often fall victim to bottomless pits and screwing up puzzles, this technique is going to be a godsend.

With over 20 levels to trek through and several questions to answer who am I, where I am, what is this place, why am I here, why was I woken up “Entropy” is sure to be an addictive, puzzling mystery in this year’s Indie Game Uprising.
